PRIVATES, BOARD & TRAIN, GROUP TRAINING, WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS

As a certified dog trainer l am very happy to let people know that part of my business includes being able to help train dogs and people in different locations. While my boarding kennels is used as my main location for the board and train, l do also have a second location in the Saint John area where l can hold other training events.

My new city location is held at 1250 LATIMORE LAKE ROAD, SAINT JOHN. It’s a brand new building constructed just for the purpose of dog training. A 3,200 square foot room has lots of room for groups and indoor agility classes. Below is a general idea of the classes l offer.

PUPPY CLASSES

for pups aged 3-5 months old. A set of 7 classes that include a theory section, an introduction to basic commands and lots of very important social playtime with the other pups.

BASIC OBEDIENCE

for dogs of any age. A set of 10 classes that include a theory section, teaching for focus, walking, sit, downs, stays and recall. Everything l teach is then tested through fun supervised games to ensure dogs and owners both do understand what they have been learning.

BASIC OBEDIENCE LEVEL 2

For students who want to continue learning other skills then there is a choice to join us in the level 2 class

BASIC OBEDIENCE REFRESHER

For students who after a break from basic levels would like to refresh their dogs skills then this is a perfect class to retake. A set of 6 classes to review and have fun with the skills they may have learnt previously.

UPTOWN MANNERS CLASS

For students who would benefit from training in a new location with their dogs. New sights, sounds and distractions . A few more basic skills are learned as the dogs learn to ignore the pigeons in Kings square and learn how to negotiate their way around people in busy public areas.

PRE AGILITY

For students who want to join in on this fun sport and want to have good foundation obedience and handling skills before they move onto the next agility level class.

INTRODUCTION TO THE EQUIPMENT

After completing pre-agility students can then move onto the next class that is the “introduction to the equipment”. Each week the dogs will gain confidence on the equipment.

AGILITY HANDLING SKILLS

After completing the last 2 sets of classes it's time to move onto the skills needed to help the dogs run courses . This is where the fun begins as students begin to see all the benefits from the last two classes start to come together.

OTHER CLASSES

Classes are being added all the. Coming new for the year 2023 will be the “REACTIVE DOG” group classes. Trick training will be added this year.
